Swirls, hearts and flowers
I've managed to just squeeze in 4 challenges with this card.
I had to be just a little bit creative to meet the Ribbon and Lace criteria as when I went searching in my stash and in my sewing cabinet there was NO LACE! I couldn't believe it, no lace at all.....well I used the Eyelet Lace border punch and will have to just hope that's ok.
I've used the So Swirly wheel in both Concord Crush and Certainly Celery to make the background paper. Then added the ribbon and lace strip, a spritzed flower, label and heart. Also added just a little bit of bling with a rhinestone and some tiny pearls.

Your color choices are beautiful. Great use of the SU Wheel. Thanks for joining at SUO Challenges.
ReplyDeleteHey Kasey,
ReplyDeleteGlad to read that you survived Yasi pretty much intact :) And I'm loving this card. I can't seem to do what you do - I'd look at the bottom part of this card and fill it up with stuff until it looked like a craft store had exploded onto it! LOL! Can't leave well enough alone, I guess. You do the elegant looks so well, though. Just fabulous.
Thank you for the kind comments. Bron we each have different styles, I can't do what you do, all that sensational artsy stuff loaded with technique. I can't do cutesy either, can't get the kids stuff no matter how hard I try. I guess I'm saying we each have strengths and weaknesses and are totally unique! Yay for us! Celebrate what we can do and attempt things that take us out of our comfort zones now and then just for the challenge.
ReplyDeleteKasey, I love your color combo. Again, you went outside the box and created a beautiful card. Wheels!! I keep forgetting we have those little things to play with also. Thank you so much for joining our challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. Look forward to seeing your beautiful creations at our next challenge.
ReplyDeleteLove that you "improvised" with the lace! I would vote yes! Delightful combo of colours, Kasey! Hugs xxaxx
ReplyDeleteKasey, I love the color combination you used. It's a beautiful card. Thanks for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
ReplyDeleteKasey, this is so pretty. That was a great idea to use the punch in lieu of ribbon. I love the shimmer on the daisy and your color combo. Great job! Thank you for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week.
ReplyDeleteKasey the same thing happened to me! I have no lace either...LOL. Your card is beautiful and I just love the heart over top of the flower. Just beautiful. Thanks for sharing it with us at PPC this week.
