It feels pretty good to be back participating in challenges aside from my DT work for the Friday Mashup. Here is a creation that I really struggled with, why? you might well ask, but me and CAS designs don't go well together at all! It's all anguish and resisting the urge to embellish more!
This card is for the following challenges
SU Only - Get Well
Less is More - Buttons and Bows
Picture Perfect Creations - # 66 - Night of Navy, Crumb Cake and Whipser White
Gorgeous card well done. You can view my card here

This is lovely, love the buttons and bows!x
ReplyDeletevery nice, clean & simple card. The bows are a great touch! Thanks for joining us at PPC this week :-)
ReplyDeleteSuper card, Personally I don;t think it needed both ribbons, Id have used the lower one and placed the sentiment where it is, but lower down
ReplyDeleteThanks os much

CAS can be difficult to get just right, but often you need far less than you might think!
ReplyDeleteI must agree with Mandi that your card would probably have had more cohesion without the upper ribbon... maybe you could try it and see what you think!
It's often a question of playing around until a pleasing design is reached.
Thanks so much for joining us and we hope to see you again next time.

I love the idea - further to Chrissie and Mandi's comment (and just my personal opinion) perhaps it would be thought to consider using the lower ribbon to "ground" your image next time

Hi Kasey, CAS isn't easy is it? I like the simplicity of the different elements. It makes a gentle card. x
