Hello to all my followers and to those of you who just stop by occasionally. This post is to announce that I've made a hard decision, one that has been looming for some time.
It is with very mixed feelings that I am about to cease my Stampin' Up! demonstratorship.
With the move to North Queensland and the additional family committments that I now have, I haven't had the time to establish a circle of crafting friends and customers so have been relying on some very loyal friends in ACT and my own purchases to keep me current as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
I believe that I become 'pending' for the next month, but I'm just not going to make the quota required to remain current. Part of me will miss the excitement of new product launches, the newsletters and the website for Demonstrators etc. however, I have to be practical as my crafting budget reduced dramatically with the move north and I have not had the luxury of spare time and cash for really growing the business and I do get to keep all the friends I've made! AND the stash I've accumulated. Stay tuned on that one, as sometime in the next few weeks/month, I'll take stock and possibly have some stamps for sale!
Looking forward though, the exciting part of this decision is that I am no longer bound by the confines of the Demonstrator agreement of only using SU products, now don't get me wrong here, I LOVE Stampin' Up! products, but there are other companies producing some exciting and wonderful products that I'm now itching to get my fingers on and play with.
I still have connections, lol my friend Monique who was my downline will keep me up to date and supply me with the must haves that I'm sure to spot in future catalogues. Sorry Monique for making you an orphan Demonstrator, I know you have lots of lovely SU Demo friends down there to draw inspiration and support from and you can always rely on me to be there for you as well.
Lets hope that I continue to inspire you with my future posts and creations.
Thank you for your support and friendship
Cheers,
Kasey ~ in Oz
Don't you know SU is the mafia... you can't leave the family??? LOL! That's a really tough decision, and of course you will find out if you can't live without it. Strength to you that you are making the right decision for yourself and your family.
ReplyDeleteSorry you had to make such a tough decision - but it was timely - you'll be starting the New Year with a fresh outlook. I'll continue to stop by to see your creations! Blessings to you in the New Year!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear this Kasey.... It must have been a very hard decision to make as I know how much you love Stampin Up.... Take care Mel
ReplyDeleteEven though I knew this was a decision you had been toying with for a little while it still brought tears to my eyes when I read your post. It is sad to see you leave SU, but I know you will continue to be there for me as a friend and as an inspiration. I know you will have so much fun exploring all those other products out there - I am definitely looking forward to seeing your continued use of Copics!

I know it's a tough decision, but it makes sense for many people. I'll be stopping at the end of the catalog year (June) so I can focus on my speaking events. I hope to stick around the Friday Mashup and other challenges though! I have a stash that will last a long time!
