Hi all, if like me you're still rushing around doing all sorts of seasonal and family stuff I'm hoping you'll forgive my tardiness in posting me DT effort for the Paper Lovin' Gals Challenge #12.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Yes just a little early but this gives you all time to go and create your own celebration card! Here's the inspiration photo.
I went with the theme of celebrate and pieced together some swirls cut with the big shot to sort of imitate fireworks. Which I don't think quite worked out but I really like the whole effect.

It didn't remind me of fireworks but I can see where you were going with it, and I like the way it turned out. Love your use of the sentiment as well.
