Friday Mashup #36

Hello all and welcome to a new Friday and another fabulous Friday Mashup challenge!

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge :
  1. Make a project featuring "Snowmen".
  2. Or Make a project using the colors "Blushing Bride, Baja Breeze & Basic Grey".
  3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a "Snowman project with the colors Blushing Bride, Baja Breeze & Basic Grey".
*With all of our Challenges that have a Stampin' Up! Color Combo, you may substitute any colors with similar ones you have on hand.

I don't actually own any snowmen stamps and due to the extreme heat up this way at this time of year, snowmen are the last things on my mind!  I've not mashed it up again this week.  How slack!  LOL.  I did make a card using the colours though and went with the Strength and Hope stamp set and even put a Breast Cancer ribbon on the card as this set was used to raise funds for Breast Cancer research, with SU donating dollars from each and every set sold at the time.

Head on over to the Friday Mashup Challenge Blog and check out the snowmen that the DT have come up with.  Send me some snow girls, it's too darn hot here!   LOL

Cheers,
Kasey ~ in Oz

  1. Lovely card Kasey - I just love this layout (and have CASEd it off you before!).

I was so sad that this stamp set was retired, it was so pretty.

  2. This is one of my most favorite stamp sets, especially since my stepmom is a breast cancer survivor, and I love what you did with it and the colors!

Gosh, I cant even think about heat without getting all cranky! I do not miss heat at all. Our summers here are very mild, we rarely see over 75*, which is just fine with me! It's been snowing the last 2 days but it cleared out tonight, with more snow set to move in Sat night/Sunday. Want me to send some down your way? :)

  4. Kasey, I LOVE how you layered the top note dies! Fantastic idea! I did not even think about these colors for breast cancer awareness, but what a great idea!

Wish I could grab some of your heat...maybe moderate both of our climates! I am too picky I guess...LOL!!

  5. A fab layout, love that butterfly. Yes, it's been hot here in Adelaide, but still had a bit of rain.

  6. I love the ribbon! No reason not to use pink for a breast cancer awareness card... in fact, that's what I thought of first when I saw the color combo.
