Unscripted and copics!

Unscripted Sketches challenge this week inspired me to drag out the copics again, not that it's any hardship!  Love using them. I've combined the sketch with the R and RV challenge at Mad for Markers challenge, it's their 2nd birthday and all of March Sammi has some things happening.  I'm also placing her into the Make it Monday challenge and the Saturated Canary challenge.  

Opps, the Saturated Canary challenge was to make anything but a square or rectangle card!  Missed the criteria and have left a comment asking to remove the link.  Duh!  I'm awake! 

Here is my card, I've used a Saturated Canary digi and I just love her to bits!  This time she's got funky pink hair coloured with a fabulous range of RV and R markers.

For this little beauty, I've used the following colours.

Skin:  E50; 51 & 53
Hair:  RV000; 00; 02; 04; 06; 69 & R29
Clothes: RV 000; 00; 02  BG 10; 11 & 15
shadow:  C 2 & 3

Black, White and Red inspiration

Welcome to a weekend post from me, I went surfing for some inspiration and found it easily at the 4 Crafty Chicks site what a fabulous picture this is.  I already knew I wanted to do embossing on white to match the ceiling so I went in search of a sketch and found just what I needed at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

 

Here's what I came up with, I have two lattice embossing folders one large and one small so I used them both here along with black and red mats and a little bit of heat embossing on the flowers and a tiny bit of water colouring on the bird.  

I love how the bow turned out, I got this satin and organza ribbon at one of those $2 shops only it was on sale and I paid $1.40 for 5 mtrs!  Got to be happy with a bargain like that especially when it is such a pretty ribbon.
