Wow this week's Paper Lovin' Gals inspiration photo is just fabulous! I love trees, and this one is no exception. I decided right from the start that I would try to recreate this collection of paintings and here's what I came up with.
I used distress inks and sponged the panels then I stamped the tree image onto the panels and used copic markers to make the leaves. I'm really pleased with the result, it's a lot more subtle than the original.
Can't wait to see what your take on this fantastic picture inspiration is. You can see what the Paper Lovin' Gals DT came up with here.
Cheers,
This is just gorgeous,what a fabulous image.xxx

ReplyDeleteHi Pia, thanks for your visit and comment!
DeleteOH-MY-WORD - Kasey, this is gorgeous. I love it. I'm going to have to case it just so I can frame it. I don't use copic markers, but I might be able to reproduce it by restamping.....I'll explore it. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHi Joan, I'm sure you can come up with the same thing using ordinary markers as this wasn't blended, just spots for the leaves. Thanks for your comments.
DeleteKasey... You knocked this challenge out of the park. Gorgeous card!!!!
