Rose Faerie Marci

Hi everyone,  I started colouring my new La La Land Rose Faerie Marci earlier in the week then I had to go out of town for work and today I managed to get some time for finishing the image and making a card.  This little Marci arrived in a parcel from Mad for Markers along with some other new release stamps and a few more copic markers.  RV91, 93, 95, 99 and I love the soft tones.

Rose Faerie Marci has been coloured with copic markers and spica pens and I've used some of my beautiful Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and metal corners, and of course Lily of the Valley sentiment.  I've used a fabulous Cheery Lynn die but not taken all of the punched out pieces out, so it's not as lacy as it usually is, I wanted more of a solid base for Marci. 

Copics used

Skin:  E000, E091, E11, R20
Cothers: RV91, RV93, RV95, RV99, YR12, YR31, Lemon and Clear spica
Wings and Roses: RV00, RV63, RV66, Clear spica
Hair: BG0000, BG11, BG53, BG57, BG72, BG75, Turquoise Spica

As is usually the case, when I'm not making DT cards, I just create and hope I can find a challenge or two to enter the card.  I was lucky and found Three!

    What a gorgeous pink creation! I have a real weakness for La La Land images... and for them to do a fairy Marci.. well it's right up my street! You've coloured her perfectly and set her wings and skirt off so well with the gems. And I love that doily die cut you've used also.

      Hi Suzanne, thanks for visiting from In the Pink. Flowers are tricky but basically I try to work with odd numbers in the grouping, so three largish flowers, then one on each side of that, little groups of three to make points, the shape is usually triangular in the overall shape with a few little buds, pearls or stamen poked into gaps! I even place them all down prior to gluing just to be sure I have the right mix of shapes and colours.
