4 CCC and PDCC

Update.  This card has been selected as one of the 'Cream in our Coffee' at the Play Date Cafe!  Thanks Girls.

What a fabulous combination, 4 Crafty Chicks and Play Date Cafe Challenges.  Both of these challenges inspired me today.

The 4 Crafty Chicks want you to use PINS!  and the Play Date Cafe had this fabulous picture to draw inspiration from.  I've come as close as I can in the colours.

This card has lots of layers I used SU Elegant Eggplant as the closest to this rich plum, then I found a lovely dusty dark blue in Coredinations card stock that I had in my stash, the woven ribbon is some retired taffeta ribbon from SU, it is edged in white and I knew I wanted to do the woven ribbon thing for this card with the Pin, I'm casing myself here a little bit.

I used a Martha Stewart round the page punch set for the decorative mat, found some flowers in my stash and the blue matched perfectly.  I coloured the bottom layer of the white flower with a copic marker and made the pin.  The pin itself is from the retired Pretties Kit from SU and I added some of my beads from my jewellery making stash.  The green bead is a much better colour match IRL (in real life).

Here is a close up pic of the features on the card.  I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers,
