So now on to this week's challenge, I'm soooo happy that we are over Halloween! One can only take so much of black and orange and pumpkins! LOL
I was inspired by a local Magnetic Island artist and I must apologise as I didn't get their name, however this is my CASE on some beautiful hangings I saw in a gallery while over on the Island recently with my lovely friend Theresa and her daughter Kelly who were visiting me from Canberra. This beautiful hanging is now at my kitchen window so it helps me cope with the washing up! LOL
My card was inspired by the floral bedspread and the colours in the picture. It doesn't show in the photo but the flowers are painted with twinkling H2Os and then the blue panel is spritzed with Champagne Mist shimmer paint so it's all sparkly. The sentiment is a rub on. I tend to forget I have Rub ons and remembered them when I was trying to decide on the sentiment here. I must remember them more often!
Now hop on over to the Paper Lovin' Gals challenge blog and check out the other inspiring projects that the Design Team have for you. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
Cheers,

Hi Kasey
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulous makes.
Such gorgeous colours.
I love that torn edge on your card very much.
I think it would take more than your stunning hanging to help me cope with our washing up .. .. I would need about six of them hanging up!! LOL!
I hope all is good with you.
Love Jules xx
Such different projects inspired by the same photo! I bet the beaded hanging looks great in the window.
ReplyDeleteThe card is very 'you', right down to the shimmer!!!
So fun to be on the DT with you!
Oh Kasey, your projects are absolutely magnificent!!! How fun and fabulous having your beaded project hanging by your window to see everyday. Your card is stunning, and how true about the rub ons, I too forget I have them. Have a wonderful day.

Kasey! What wonderful projects you are sharing with us! I bet your hanging reflects the window light perfectly. Your card is beautiful! I too forget I have rub-ons. Thanks for the inspiration and the reminder. :-)
ReplyDeleteI think BOTH too! Your card is so pretty and your sun catcher sparkles (I bet more in the sun)
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the Inspiration photo. I really like the hanging you made. Lots of pretty colors in it. Your card came out great love all those rhinestones along the edge.
ReplyDeleteKasey, both of these are absolutely fab! I love seeing what everyone feels inspired by in the photos. :)
