Happy I Do Day!

Creating just for fun today and to enter some challenges.  I ended up with a wedding card, I really only wanted slight shading on this Saturated Canary digi image and used only E40 and 0 on her dress, then I decided it needed some sparkle and so I put sand spica to jazz it up.  Love the end result.  Her flowers and the rose on her dress are done with Gold and Sand spica pens and a touch of BV0000 for her eyes and bouquet.

Her hair has so many colours....

E11, 15, 19, 21, 23, 25, 33  Garnet, Sand, Gold, Chocolate spica

The sparkle doesn't show up so well in the photo though.

I found a couple of new (for me) challenges that I'm entering this card into.

I'm also playing along with Southern Girls, not for prizes though as I'm new to their Design Team!  My first DT challenge will be next month.

Pink at the Play Date Cafe

 

I thought I'd try to sneak in a little bit of crafting today, I'm trying to get ahead on my Design Team work but I also had to create a card for The Play Date Cafe challenge which is colour splash week that means the main card is black and white with a splash of Hot Pink!

Aren't these flowers just Fabulous?  

I wanted to use this fabulous die I picked up at a local craft shop it's a Marianne Creatables and is just gorgeous.  I've layered the Hot Pink on top of Black to create some shadow then changed my mind about placing it on a white background!  Don't you just love it when your creative side takes over and changes your original thoughts?
