Looks like another creative night! The watercolouring on this card was drying when I posted my last challenge card, it came together a bit more quickly than I expected so I'm back posting again tonight.
This card is an entry in Curtain Call's latest colour challenge Act 64. This one threw me a bit at first, I went with Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke for the flowers and had in mind Marina Mist taffeta ribbon in a bow....then as I was trying to figure out how to incorporate the Pacific Point, the border mat came to mind then threading the ribbon instead of a bow.....then there was bling, that HAD to be added.....LOL and of course a sentiment. I love the square lattice embossing folder and how it gives a tapestry effect to this stamp from the Elements of Style set.
I love how you have laced the ribbon. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty with the ribbon framing the image like that!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card, Kasey! I am hoping to post my challenge card tomorrow. Love the ribbon! Hugs xxaxx
